About Me

Hamzah is in his first year of pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering at the University of Calgary. He aspires to become a Civil and Biomedical Engineer on his way to medical school. He is committed to raising awareness about the issues that face the Muslim community through research. He is particularly interested in Islamophobia and Discrimination and the implications it has on Muslims. He is passionate about serving his community and giving back to create a positive impact. He volunteers as a Youth Mentor for Young Muslims Canada, a Camp Leader for IMYD and at the Peter Lougheed Hospital. He also plays competitive ball hockey and is an enthusiastic table tennis player.
